Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily retrieve and output merchandise data, etc., required in a store anytime by providing a computer for recording data and a computer for analyzing data. SOLUTION: Within a store 10 laying in a stock of merchandise such as books 9 and selling it, when a bar code 11 is read by a scanner 12 at the time of selling the books 9, the data is transmitted to the computer 13 for recording data and information on the titles, the sales prices of the books 9 is all recorded in the computer 13 for recording data. Data recorded in the computer 13 is transmitted to the computer 15 for analyzing data by a flexible disk 16. The computer 15 executes tabulation and analysis based on transmitted data to retrieve and output merchandise sales data, stock merchandise management, supplied merchandise data, etc. In addition, merchandise can be ordered to a wholesale store 17 from the computer 15.
