To surely transmit a message to an opposite side of the message.

This message device faces the direction of sounding to pick up an image with a camera (step S4), and judges whether a face image of the opposite side in the picked-up image is the face image of the opposite side of the message which is registered (step S5). When the face image is the opposite side of the message, the message is reproduced (step 10). When the face image is not determined to be the opposite side of the message, the message is not reproduced. Since whether a person approaching the message device is the opposite side of the message or not is determined with biological feature information of the opposite side by the message device itself like this the message can surely be transmitted to the designated opposite side of the message among a plurality of persons.
