Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fibrous metal chelate material exhibiting excellent capturing performance to harmful heavy metal ions, etc., and further capable of readily carrying out burning treatment and simply, safely and inexpensively producing.
SOLUTION: This metal chelate-forming fiber is obtained by binding at least one kind of metal chelate-forming compound selected from a group comprising an aminodicarboxylic acid, a thiocarboxylic acid and phosphoric acid having reactivity with glycidyl group through a crosslink reactive compound having a reactive double bond and glycidyl group in the molecule into a fiber molecule of natural fiber or regenerated fiber.
