Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion of a fine resin particle which has excellent storage stability and can contain a metal oxide in a wide concentration range and its industrially advantageous production method.SOLUTION: An aqueous dispersion comprises (A) a fine particle of an epoxy resin cured product and (B) a metal oxide. An amount of unreacted epoxy resin in (A) the fine particle of the epoxy resin cured product is 0-30 mass%, and the average particle size of (A) the fine particle of the epoxy resin cured product is 0.05-100 μm. The aqueous dispersion is produced by adding a curing agent to an emulsion dispersed dropwise with an epoxy resin to harden an unreacted epoxy resin ingredient in a granular form to obtain (A1) a dispersion containing (A) the fine particle of the epoxy resin cured product and mixing (A1) the dispersion with (B) the metal oxide or (B1) a dispersion of the metal oxide.
