PURPOSE: To provide the title card clothing capable of spinning cotton or synthetic fibers irrespective of their finenesses without the need for any replacement using a single carding machine, so designed that the shallow and deep parts from an edge tip are provided with specific shapes respectively and the both parts are connected to each other through a concave curved surface.

CONSTITUTION: The working angle surface A to a depth a ca.0.15mm from an edge tip 3 is made flat and the angle α between this surface and a straight line parallel with the top surface formed by edge tips is assumed to be 55-70°. A second working angle surface B within a range b at a depth of 0.3-0.4mm from the edge tip 3 is also made flat, and the angle β similar to the angle αis assumed top be 70-80°, and the third working angle surface C between the surfaces A A and B is formed with a concave surface.
