To provide a metallic label whose surface has extremely high smoothness equally to that of a mirror and its manufacturing method.
This metallic label has a polished surface of #1000 or more and is manufactured by including a process in which a thin metallic sheet is closely stuck on a support sheet and the surface 2 of the metallic sheet is polished to be #1000 or more and finishing grinding is performed as necessary and a letter or a graphic pattern is formed by performing full etching of the metallic sheet. Moreover, in manufacturing the metallic label, the manufacturing method of the metallic label may be a method which includes a process in which a transferring sheet is stuck on the polished surface after the full etching and the letter or the graphic pattern 1 is transferred on the transferring sheet by exfoliating the support sheet and the rear face of the pattern is exposed and an adhesive layer 4 for fixation is established on the rear face of the pattern.
