Abstract:
To provide a method for adaptive blind equalization of m PSK signals applicable to a much wider range, and to provide an equalizer therefor.
An equalizer for a PSK signal includes a complex-conjugate calculator, an equalization coefficient update unit and an FIR filter. The complex-conjugate calculator calculates a complex-conjugate product of output of the equalizer at a predetermined time and output at a time before that predetermined time. The equalization coefficient update unit updates an equalization coefficient utilizing the complex-conjugate product. The FIR filter filters an input signal by using the updated equalization coefficient.
