Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a croostalk between pitch and camber angles in inclination measurement in a wheel alignment system of an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel alignment system 18 for measuring a true-camber and a true-pitch is provided. A camber angle and a pitch angle are measured by use of head apparatus 14L, 14R coupled to a wheel of an automobile. The true-camber and true-pitch are calculated based on a measured camber and measured pitch, a camber and crosstalk value, and a pitch and crosstalk value.
