Abstract:
PURPOSE: To pack without alteration and generation of a dry coat by filling a container with an object to be packed such as paint, sealing the container while air in an upper space in the container is substituted with inert gas and then putting a lid.
CONSTITUTION: After a container 1 mainly comprising a paper material for a filling and packing container is filled with an object to be packed such as print ink or paint, the container 1 is sequentially and intermittently transferred, wherein during the transfer the container is passed through a gas substitution chamber 22 where inert gas is blown into an upper space 5 above the object in the container 1 to have air in the space 5 substituted with the inert gas. Then the container is transferred with a long sealing film 6 supplied from upward in contact with an opening rim 3a to close an upper opening of the container 1 to hold the inert gas, and the film 6 is heat-fused to the opening rim 3a to be sealed. Then a lid 2 is fitted into the opening rim 3a of the container 1, thereby completing the filling and packing with the inert gas sealed in the upper space 5 above the filled ink or the like.
