Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for efficiently separating bone and meat from a joint of cattles or pigs.
SOLUTION: This method for separating the bones and meat comprises shakably supporting an end of the joint A with a receiving part 16, engaging a threadlike material 4 with a head contact part 13, inserting the other end of the joint A into the resultant formed loop 4a and keeping the loop 4a in a wound and tightened state relatively to the joint A so as to squeeze the joint A together with the head contact part 13 in the longitudinal direction of the joint A. The apparatus for separating the bones and meat of the joint A comprises the receiving part 16, a shaking lever 11 for engaging the threadlike material 4 with the head contact part 13 and forming and holding the loop 4a, a cylinder 9 for driving the shaking lever 11 and a cylinder 1 for pulling the loop 4a in the longitudinal direction of the joint A.
