PURPOSE: To simplify the application of a decorative adhesive tape for enabling mass production, by setting a molding below a punched hole and by applying the decorative tape punched by a punch, to the molding with the use of a rubber which is attached to the lower surface of the punch and inflated by air pressure.

CONSTITUTION: A decorative adhesive tape 5 is set on a lower die 27 so that the adhesive layer of the tape material 5 faces downward, and a decorative adhesive tape 2 is punched out by a punch 29 by lowering a movable member 28 in this condition. Further, while maintaining the punch 29 lowered, air is fed to ventialting holes 33a, 33b from an air cylinder 35 by opening a valve 34 to inflate a rubber 32. The pressure of press due to the inflation of the rubber 32 is applied to the above-mentioned tape 2 which is thereby pressed onto a molding 4 and is therefore applied thereto.
