The improved transparent polyurethane coating material for coating the golf ball includes a coating material to be dried on-line in ten minutes at the room temperature or higher without using a mixing device just before. The improved transparent polyurethane coating material is disclosed here together with the method for coating the golf ball by using fast-dry coating system mentioned above. The coating system can achieve the improved flight performance of a hit ball.
