To efficiently construct a large passenger ship by a simple device though a requisite is hardly conveyed to a large number of different decks, transportation route is very complicated as the passenger ship is formed mazelike and only an ordinary passage is utilized in the ship.
In a construction method for a large structure 1, e.g. a passenger ship, at least one intermediate space is formed by partitioning at least partially the structure 1 at least into two parts. For example, a transportation system provided with tower cranes 3a, 3b and hoisting platforms 5, 5a, 5b is provided to distribute furnishings and a device or the like to a required deck 9 of the structure 1 through the intermediate space. The structure 1 is assembled thereafter into integrated unit by connecting or completing separated parts. This method is executed in a construction site, e.g. a construction berth 6.
