Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a wide range and complicated control performable on a display method in a display device with an image signal for display including control information.
SOLUTION: On the sending side of the image signal for display, a control parameter signal consisting of a control tag signal designating an object to be controlled and a signal Ts or Te identifying the starting and ending of the control, is put between a specific parameter opening signal Ps and a parameter ending signal Pe and embedded in a signal displaying the image for the display. In the display device, when the generated image signal Si for the display is inputted, a signal Ps is detected from the input signal Si in a tag decoder 200 and whether the signal for identifying the starting and ending of the control following it is Ts or Te is discriminated. Thereafter, when Pe is detected from the input signal Si, a control tag signal is taken out of a signal interval between the detected Ps and Pe and, based on the result of the control tag signal and the signal for identifying the starting and ending of the control, signals C1, C2, C3 and C4 for controlling each part of the display device are generated.
