Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control fuel injection quantity properly at all times by subtracting the injection quantity in accordance with the responsive delay of an intake air quantity on the basis of the sum of the injection quantity according to the engine speed and the injection quantity according to the varying degree of a throttle valve opening and obtaining thereby the real fuel injection quantity. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine 13 is provided with each fuel injection valve B1-Bm installed in each intake conduit A1-Am connected to a number of combustion chambers E1-Em respectively. In this case, each fuel injection valve B1-Bm is controlled by a processing unit 31 on the basis of each detected signal from each kind of sensor 19, 21, 24, 27, 28 and 30 for detecting the operational conditions of the internal combustion engine 13. The real fuel injection quantity is obtained by subtracting the injection quantity in accordance with the responsive delay of the intake air flow rate on the basis of the sum of the injection quantity, having relatively small variation and stable condition, obtained in use of the speed of the internal combustion engine 13 and the injection quantity corresponding to the varying degree of the throttle valve opening.
