PURPOSE: To improve the comfortableness due to reduction in the number of times of energy- saving operations and intermittent operations, and reduction in the temperature fluctuation width by forcibly causing the apparatus to carry out a control to operate at the lowest power at the initial time of operation so that a time where the apparatus operates at the lowest power, in a method of controlling the operation of a compressor after the operation of the compressor is stopped by a thermostat.
CONSTITUTION: At the initial time of operation, a preliminary operation is carried out for about 2 to 3 minutes. This preliminary operation is carried out for conducting complete oil feeding to respective parts of a compressor normally at an operational speed of about 3000rpm. As a method of controlling the operation thereafter, whether the preliminary operation is an operation after when a difference in temperature between that of the room temperature sensor and a room temperature set value becomes small, or an operation at the time of starting the operation of the air conditioner after once stopping the same, is determined, for example, by the difference in temperature between the value obtained by the room temperature sensor and the room temperature set value. When the temperature difference is large the rotational speed of the compressor varies in proportion to the temperature difference. On the other hand, when the temperature difference is small, the compressor is operated at the minimum rotational speed and stopped and the operation thereof is one after the room temperature has been raised. Upon this time, the compressor is operated at the minimum rotational speed for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, an operation is started to control the rotational speed of the compressor by the temperature difference between the temperature set by the temperature sensor and the room temperature.
