PURPOSE: To provide a method for determining the recombination ratio of a gene necessary for the preparation of a gene sequence map giving effective information in the cloning of gene by biotechnology and to accurately determine the recombination ratio between the objective two or more genus even if the qualitative character gene has a strain.
CONSTITUTION: A virtual gene S other than the objective two genes G and H is presumed. The recombination ratios p2 and p3 between the virtual gene and the objective genes are calculated based on the assumption that the deviation of the observed ratio of individual bodies is caused by the virtual gene S. The recombination ratio p1 between the objective genes G and H is determined by using the recombination ratios p2 and p3.
