Abstract:
To improve the health of poultry while sufficiently reducing the stress of poultry during collection and movement to a slaughterhouse and to improve the processing of poultry at the slaughterhouse while sufficiently avoiding danger in injury and suffocation.
The poultry is caught by a catching means 2, the poultry caught by the catching means 2 is conveyed to a collecting means 6 by a conveying means 4, a passage 16 at the conveying means 4 is filled with swoon gas, and the poultry is collected and moved to a slaughterhouse by letting the poultry partly faint.
