PURPOSE: To continuously modify the surface of a solid particle by fixing a plurality of rotating tables equipped with impact pins to a rotary shaft with the intervals, covering the same with impact rings to form an impact chamber, providing partitions between the respective rotating tables to form a plurality of impact chambers and providing communication paths connected to the adjacent impact chambers in the respective partitions.
CONSTITUTION: Rotating tables 2a-2c provided with impact pins 6 and impact rings 7a-7c are equipped respectively in a plurality of impact chambers mutually communicated. Powdery grain groups constituting of solid particles and the other particles are introduced into the impact chambers. Impulsive stroke action is given thereto. Air flow generated therewith is separated from the powdery groups and continuously discharged to the outsides of the impact chambers. Moreover, while the solid particle groups are temperarily stagnated, stroke action is continued. The solid particle groups are successively moved to the adjacent impact chambers. As a result, the surfaces of solid particles are continuously modified.
