Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring turbine efficiency of an auxiliary power unit of an airplane.SOLUTION: A method for detecting performance of turbine efficiency of an auxiliary power unit APU of an airplane, includes the steps of: acquiring an APU message at a number of time points in a certain period; acquiring starting parameters including a rotating speed, of at least a peak value EGT of the APU on the basis of the APU message; calculating a ratio NPA corresponding to the rotating speed in normal operation of the APU, of the rotating speed when an exhaust temperature has a peak value at the time of starting the APU; calculating an average value of the NPA during the period; and determining a stable period, a degradation period or a failure period of the turbine efficiency of the APU on the basis of the average value of the NPA.
