Abstract:

To provide a measure to suppress influence of accompanied wind on a cast ribbon in place of a measure to suck and eliminate the accompanied wind by a decompression chamber in a solution casting method.

In the method for producing the optical film having a process of forming a cast film by casting a resin solution on a moving supporting body from a die, a moving body moved to a direction opposite from a moving direction of the supporting body is disposed on the upstream side of the moving direction of the supporting body more than the die, and the following relationship is satisfied when the narrowest gap between a surface of the moving body and a surface of the supporting body is T; 0 mm<T≤2 mm. The moving body is moved during the process.
