Abstract:

To obtain a continuous numerical sound recognizing device having high recognizing performance capable of restricting a source error easily generated at the time of recognizing a continuous numerical sound by obtaining a collation length of digit unit in relation to plural digits of numerical series, and correcting the numerical series on the basis of the distribution of the collation length of digit unit.

An acoustic model 107 of recognition unit is connected to a continuous numerical network generating means 106 on the basis of a network grammar 108 so as to generate a continuous numerical network as a collation pattern for showing the continuous number regulated by the network grammar 108. A collating means 104 computes the degree of the input sound in relation to the characteristic vector per a generated continuous numerical network. A determining means 105 selects a pattern on the continuous numerical network having the highest likelihood, and outputs the numerical series corresponding to the selected pattern as a result of the recognition. With this structure, a source error among the recognition errors can be restricted.
