Abstract:
To efficiently detect the data rate of a reception data.
A CRC calculating part 71, when it is supplied with decoding data from the E1-th bit of an end bit of a data rate R1 to the (Ei-L)-th bit ahead of L bits, calculates with the decoding data for providing a CRC, and the calculation result is copied to a CRC calculating part 72. The CRC calculating part 72 performs a prescribed calculation with path memory data from a Viterbi decoding part 22 for providing a CRC, and based on the calculation result as well as the calculation result from the CRC calculating part 71, calculates the CRC and supplies it to a CRC judging part 42.
