CONSTITUTION: A specific groove space is provided between the groove face of the end of adjacent steel bars 1A, 1B and is clamped, the neighborhood of groove face is enclosed with the ferrule 21 having an opening above, a welding wire 19 is inserted into from the opening part 22, and arc is generated at the bottom part of groove space by a welding torch 18. Subsequently, in the process of lifting the welding wire from the groove space's bottom part, welding is executed with imparting on the welding wire 19 the oscillating motion in line with a length of the groove face in the width direction corresponding to the lifting position.
