Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency of a turbine plant in a reheating atomic turbine generating plant by providing a drain tank in a reheater for separately recovering the steam and drain heats of the steam heated by the reheater. CONSTITUTION:The steam from a steam generator 1 is partially introduced into a high pressure turbine 2 and partially introduced through a second reheater heating steam tube 19 to a reheater 5. The steam heated by the reheater 5 is altered to drain, but partially passed through the reheater 5 as steam. The drain the steam heats are recovered in a high pressure water supply heater 9. Similarly, the drain and steam heats are recovered from the reheater 4 in a high pressure water supply heater 10. In this case, the heated steam is introduced into drain tanks 25, 26 to be separated into steam and drain. The steam in the tank 26 is introduced into the reheater 4, and the drain is introduced through a drain tube 22 to the heater 9, while the steam from the tank 25 is mixed with the steam to be heated, and the drain is introduced through the drain tube 21 to the heater 10.
