Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain polyester/cellulose blended fibers which are uniformly dyed and have excellent dyeing repeatability and high fastness by dyeing with a specific disperse dyestuff and a specific black direct dyestuff in an alkali region at a high temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Dyeing treatment of fibers start at 50°C in a dyeing bath containing one kind or more of disperse dyestuffs of formula I (X is H, OCH3; R1, R2 are C2H5, CH2-CH=CH2) and a C.I. direct black 22 of formula II as a free acid, and the one bath dyeing treatment is conducted at 120-140°C, keeping 6-10 of dyeing pH at over 90°C. Resultant fibers are uniformly dyed in a black color and have excellent dyeing repeatability and high fastness.
