Abstract:
To provide a method and device for filling a fire proofing joint material or a repairing material into gaps of refractories readily and in an inexpensive manner even under a high temperature working condition.
A fire proofing material 3 such as a fire proofing joint material or repaing material in a paste form is filled in a container 6 which is provided with a nozzle 7 at the front opening thereof and is deformable when pressed. The front extremity of the nozzle 7 is directed to face a gap such as a joint or a crack of refractories. When the container 6 is pressed, the fire proofing material 3 is extruded from the container 6 and the fire proofing material 3 is filled in the gap at the extruding pressure and thereafter dried.
