PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming and storing a roll bale in which the removal work of a wrap net is easy, the influence to livestock is reduced even when the debris of the wrap net is mixed in feed, and the deformation of a cylindrical shape of the roll bale is reduced and the yield of the feedstuff such as grass is preferable.SOLUTION: A method for forming and storing a roll bale has a compression step of compressing feedstuff being reaped or cut in a predetermined length into a cylindrical shape, a forming step of wrapping the cylindrical feedstuff after the compression step with a wrap net and forms a roll bale, and a storage step of carrying and storing the roll bale after the forming step. The wrap net is a knitting product or net fabric with yarn comprising cellulose of 100% arranged in a grid pattern. The mesh of grid of the wrap net is configured such that the interval in the warp direction is in a range of 0.5-5.0 cm, and the interval in the weft direction is in a range of 0.5-5.0 cm. This wrap net is characterized by being stacked and wound by 2 laps or more on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical feedstuff.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
