PURPOSE: To attach a hanging bolt or the like at any position so as to conveniently cope with partitioning or the like.

CONSTITUTION: In a method of forming a wall surface supported fixture such as an embedded rail, in which a fixture composed of a bolt and nut set is fixed to a ceiling, a floor and a wall 2 in a building, a rail 1 having a tunnel part 3 defining therein a space for sliding the fixture composed of the bolt and nut set, and a slit part 4 communicated with the tunnel part 3, and flat surface parts 5 formed at the front end part of the slit part 4, and having a Ω-like cross-sectional shape is used. The rail 1 is embedded in a ceiling, a floor or a wall 2 in a building while the rail is arranged such that the flat surface parts 5 are aligned with an attaching plane. Then, the bolt is inserted into the slit part 4 and the nut is fastened at the tunnel part 3 and the flat surface parts 5 so as to fix the fixture. With this arrangement, since the rail 1 is embedded when concrete is placed, a hanging bolt or the like may be attached at any position along the rail 1. Further, since it may be moved along the rail 1, the fixture can be optionally dispositioned, and accordingly, it is possible to simply cope with partitioning or reforming.
