Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of burrs at the time of griding by forming a resin layer on the outer peripheral surface of a rotor and thereafter griding the outer peripheral surface of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of core pieces each having predetermined projections on the outer peripheral surface are laminated to constitute a rotor 1 formed with a plurality of salient-poles 3 on its outer peripheral surface. In griding the outer peripheral surface of each of the salient-poles of the rotor 1, a resin layer 7 such as a powdery synthetic resin is electrostatically attached beforehand on the whole outer peripheral surface of the rotor 1, the synthetic resin is heated, deposited and formed. Thereafter, the outer peripheral portion of salient-pole of the rotor 1 is ground in the peripheral direction. By these procedures, burrs 5 produced on the outer peripheral end surface 3b of the salient-pole 3 do not circulate in the groove 6 from the parts of salient-pole corner parts 3a, and hence the burrs 5 can be exactly separated from the salient-pole corner parts 3a.
