The cosmetic composition contains an active substance selected from hesperitin laurate and quercitin caprylate and developing an activity of restricting or preventing modification of a cell metabolic action due to exposure to radiation of sunlight, in which the activity is selected from increase of cell survival rates, and restriction of inflammatory molecule synthesis.
