Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester with advanced functionality by enhancing the affinity of the original polyester to a functionality-manifesting compound.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester is added with an acrylate compound-contg. treating agent and then irradiated with ultraviolet pulse laser beams of 248nm wavelength at 10 to 50 pulses under a condition with an fluence of 20 to 50mJ/cm2, thus accomplishing the imparting of the objective funcitonality to the polyester.
