Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily increasing internal pressure of a hollow ball in a practical time.SOLUTION: A method for increasing internal pressure of a hollow ball includes: (1) a step of putting hollow balls 18 each having an outer shell and a space covered with the outer shell into a storage part 4; (2) a step of filling the storage part 4 with a gas having more excellent permeability than oxygen gas and nitrogen gas to the outer shell; and (3) a step of making the gas permeate through the outer shell. When the outer shell contains natural rubber, preferably, in the step (2), the gas having a permeability coefficient of 20×10m/(N s) or greater to the natural rubber at 25°C is used to fill the storage part. Preferably, in the step (2), carbon dioxide gas is used to fill the storage part.
