Abstract:

To provide a method for making water-disintegrable sheet in which water-soluble polymer can be fixed on wet paper in a paper making machine that uses felt for conveyance of wet paper and makes no water-soluble polymer stain the felt.

Provided is the method for making water-disintegrable sheet, in which the step of drying the wet paper (W) by a Yankee dryer 15 is preceded by the step of conveying the wet paper (W) placed on the belt of felt. The method includes the step of attaching the wet paper (W) to the Yankee dryer 15 via a touch roll 16, thereafter the step of adding water-soluble polymer via a nozzle and a shower pipe 20 to the wet paper (W) which has been moved to on the Yankee dryer 15.
