Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a decorated three-dimensional molded article of which the shape of a decorative pattern is not impaired after the use.

The method of manufacturing the decorated article comprises a process of printing a pattern on the surface of transfer paper with high- temperature ink (i), a process of obtaining a decorative base by transferring the pattern onto a transparent and flat base surface by sublimation (ii), a process of disposing the decorative base in a mold so that the pattern of the surface of the decorative base faces the inside of the mold (iii) and a process of molding the decorated article by injecting a thermoplastic composition into the mold.
