Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a hydrogen separation membrane containing palladium in a simple and easy manner.
The hydrogen separation membrane is manufactured by applying slurry of a palladium compound and a compound of a metal capable of forming an alloy with palladium onto a supporting carrier and reducing the slurry-applied supporting carrier to form a palladium alloy film on the supporting carrier or by reducing the palladium compound and the compound of the metal capable of forming the alloy with palladium in slurry in advance and applying the slurry containing a reduced palladium alloy onto the supporting carrier to form the palladium alloy film on the supporting carrier.
