Abstract:

To provide an inflation molding method excellent in productivity, optical characteristics such as transparency and glossiness, and mechanical characteristics.

In this inflation molding method, a mixture containing polyethylene and a polyethylene wax is inflation-molded. In the polyethylene, a density is in the range of ≥900 (kg/m3) and <940 (kg/m3), and number average molecular weight on a polyethylene basis, which is measured by GPC, is 10,000 or more. In the polyethylene wax, a density is in the range of 890-980 kg/m3, and number average molecular weight measured by the GPC is in the range of 500-4,000. The polyethylene wax satisfies a relationship which is expressed by the expression: B≤0.0075×K. In the expression, B represents the content ratio (wt.%) of a component in which molecular weight on the polyethylene basis in the polyethylene wax in the case of measurement by the gel-permeation chromatography is 20,000 or more, and K represents the melt viscosity (mPa s) of the polyethylene wax at 140°C.
