Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a low cost multimedia card having a plurality of chips with higher quality by enhancing the yield.
A prescribed electronic circuit is designed on a circuit board and SMI is performed to the surface of a current-conducting plate of the circuit board. Then, the plurality of chips are implanted in a prescribed position of the circuit board and a required wire (gold or aluminum wire) are connected with each chip. After that, the chips are sealed in the circuit board by packaging material. A thin card is formed by molding the circuit board in which the chips are sealed and card materials so that they are integrated and made into a product by printing characters and designs on the surface of the card.
