To provide a method of manufacturing a non-inflammable decorative sheet which includes an inorganic substrate containing magnesia cement as a main component and a surface decorative layer having air tightness, capable of obtaining the non-inflammable decorative sheet which inhibits the occurrence of explosive fracture due to the vaporization of water contained in the inorganic substrate while improving the strength of the inorganic substrate.
The method of manufacturing the non-inflammable decorative sheet which includes the inorganic substrate containing the magnesia cement as the main component and the surface decorative layer formed on one face side thereof and having the air tightness, includes a step of hardening slurry including at least magnesium oxide to produce the inorganic substrate, and a step of forming the surface decorative layer on the surface of the inorganic substrate directly or via the other layer. In the step of forming the inorganic substrate, the slurry is blended with phosphoric acid of 0.01 mass% or more and less than 0.20 mass% to the magnesium oxide.
