To provide a manufacturing method capable of forming a thin cover layer to a desired thickness to cover a recording reflective film.
This method comprises: the transfer step of using a transfer device provided with a stamper mounting turntable 17 having a center circular hole 17a, and a vertically movable center pin 28 projected upward through the circular hole 17a and having a support base 17 on its tip to mount a stamper 18 on the table 17 with a pit surface set as an upper surface, to mount the hard synthetic resin 29 of a predetermined thickness on the support base 17 above the table 17, to coat a UV cured adhesive 36 on the stamper 18, to lower the center pin 28 by a predetermined amount to press a disk 29 to the stamper 18 across the adhesive 36, to radiate ultraviolet rays to harden the adhesive 36, and to raise the center pin 28 to separate a transfer disk 29A from the stamper 18; the sputtering step of forming a recording reflective film on the transfer surface of the transfer disk 29A; and the step of sticking the transfer disk 29A to a disk substrate across the adhesive 36.
