To provide a method for manufacturing a support for a lithographic printing plate by which not only the high-quality support for a lithographic printing plate can be manufactured using a reclaimed aluminum but also a low-cost power supply device can be used and a support for the lithographic printing plate and an original lithographic printing plate.
This method for manufacturing a support for the lithographic printing plate comprises the surface roughening step to roughen at least one side of the reclaimed aluminum plate manufactured using a reclaimed aluminum base metal and is characterized in that the surface roughening step includes a low frequency electrolytic surface roughening step to perform an electrolytic surface roughening process in an acidic electrolytic solution by means of low frequency alternating current with a frequency of 0.3 to 5 Hz.
