Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a tempered glass plate with higher strength and light weight.
The method for manufacturing a tempered glass plate includes a chemical tempering process of chemically tempering a glass plate, and a polishing process of, after the tempering, polishing the surface of the glass plate by using slurry containing colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of 80 nm or less.
