Title:
METHOD FOR MOLDING FIBER-REINFORCED SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04301436
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for molding and cutting easily a molded body into a defined length after the molded body passes through a mold when a composite consisting of a core material layer made of a raw material with high rigidity such as a metal, etc., and a fiber- reinforced resin layer formed around the core material layer is molded by means of pultrusion molding method.

CONSTITUTION: As shown in the figure, a core material 1 with a hollow and ring crosssection and made of a metal is used and a plurality of these core material 1 and distance collars 2 with a section of a short length made of a easily cuttable raw material and have the same crosssectional shape are alternatively positioned and these core materials and distance collars are transferred in the molding direction while they are perforated in the molding direction with a core rod 3 similarly made of an easily cuttable raw material and with a shape of a long length and as the result, positioning of the core material 1 and the distance collar 2 in the radial direction can be done by means of this supplementary core rod 3. In addition, when it is cut into a defined length after performing pultrusion, if cutting is performed at the position of this distance collar 2 by means of a cutter 9, the cutting work is easily performed. In addition, pieces of the collars which are other divided parts of the distance collars remain on both end parts of the obtd. composite and they exhibits a function sealing the end parts of the core material made of a metal.
