Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently preparing an oxidized aliphatic hydrocarbon from an aliphatic hydrocarbon using a solid catalyst which can be easily prepared, and the catalyst used for the reaction.
In the method for preparing the oxidized aliphatic hydrocarbon, the aliphatic hydrocarbon is contacted with molecular oxygen in the presence of the solid catalyst. The solid catalyst wherein at least one group 8 transition metal of the periodic table and at least one group 9 transition metal of the periodic table are supported on an oxide of a group 5 or group 13 element is also provided.
