Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing kenaf pulp capable of producing the kenaf pulp having high whiteness in a large scale.
This method for preparing kenaf pulp is to remove (1) leaves and branches of raw kenaf, squeeze (2) juice by pressing the raw kenaf and peel (3) barks of the juice-squeezed raw kenaf by washing with water to carry out a pretreatment, subsequently prepare (4) raw chips by cutting the pretreated kenaf, boil (5) the juice-squeezed and bark-removed raw chips in water and mill (6) the kenaf chips boiled in water to bring the kenaf to pulp. The kenaf pulp having high whiteness is produced on a large sale by peeling off barks, squeezing juice and milling chips.
