To provide a method for the pressure regulation in a weaving machine and to provide a weaving machine with a pressure regulating system.
The method for the pressure regulation in a weaving machine 1 is presented, in particular in an air jet weaving machine having a pressure regulating system 10 and a weft insertion system for the insertion of a plurality of different weft threads 2, 2'. In the weft insertion system, a thread store 2a, 2b, 2a', 2b' and a main nozzle 3, 3' is provided for each different weft thread, with the main nozzle drawing off the respective weft thread from the thread store and accelerating it during the insertion. In addition, there is provided in the pressure regulating system, for a group of main nozzles together, a pressure regulator 20 with a pressure sensor 21, a multi-way valve 22 and a regulator 23 arranged separate from it, with the regulator being connected to the pressure sensor and to the multi-way valve, and the pressure regulator 20 is coupled for the insertion of a weft thread to the main nozzle 3, 3' of the group corresponding to it.
