Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an alkylbenzene hydroperoxide by using an alkylbenzene as a starting material and oxidizing with an oxygen-containing gas, and having an excellent effect of capable of obtaining the alkylbenzene hydroperoxide at a high yield.
This method for producing the alkylbenzene hydroperoxide is provided by supplying an aqueous solution containing peroxide to an oxidation reaction vessel without making a contact with an aqueous alkaline solution. As the alkylbenzene, ethylbenzene, isopropylbenzene, sec-butylbenzene, isopropylmethylbenzene, diisopropylbenzene, etc., can be cited.
