Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube capable of manufacturing a carbon nanotube having a high ratio of a two-layer structure at an excellent synthesis rate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube includes: a first raw material supply step of supplying a first raw material involving a first hydrocarbon compound, a catalyst source involving a metal element and a reaction accelerator to a reaction system; and a second raw material supply step of supplying a second raw material involving a gas-phase linear hydrocarbon compound as a second hydrocarbon compound which is different from the first hydrocarbon compound to the first raw material having been supplied to the reaction system; wherein the molar ratio of the linear hydrocarbon compound to the first hydrocarbon compound to is 70% or over and 400% or under.SELECTED DRAWING: None
