Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing decoratively tied strings in which the decoratively tied strings are changed from a two-dimensional to a three- dimensional knitting so that the three-dimensional effects are increased and the pattern variations are diversified.
SOLUTION: A core (20) made of a soluble material in a needed shape having a protecting membrane coated thereon is set inside a decoratively tied string that is loosely knitted in a three-dimensional body having the space (12), then the knitting strings (10) are firmly tied in order so that the shape of the decoratively tied strings is allowed to match the shape of the core 20 and the knitting strings (11) of the decoratively tied strings (10) are coated with a setting solution (30) whereby the outer shape of the decoratively tied strings is set, while the solvent dissolving the core is injected into the core to dissolve the core inside the protecting membrane. Then, the protecting membrane (21) remaining after the dissolution of the core 20 and the like are taken off through the space (12) of the decoratively tied strings (10).
