Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a foamed polyurethane elastomer capable of producing a foamed polyurethane elastomer having an arbitrary shape, providing a good balance of resilience and hardness, and obtaining a foamed polyurethane elastomer excellent in appearance.SOLUTION: A foamed polyurethane elastomer is obtained by: preparing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin which is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate component containing bis (isocyanato methyl) cyclohexane with an active hydrogen group-containing component; disposing the thermoplastic polyurethane resin in a reaction vessel; supplying a raw material gas into the reaction vessel at a temperature T1 greater than or equal to a melting point of the thermoplastic polyurethane resin and less than or equal to the melting point+40°C; impregnating a supercritical fluid into the thermoplastic polyurethane resin by pressurizing the inside of the reaction vessel to make the raw material gas into the supercritical fluid; and releasing the pressure of the reaction vessel at a temperature T2 that is less than or equal to a temperature T1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
